17 Again revolves around a guy who couldn’t live his life the way he wanted to and wishes to change it by going back to high school.
So one day when he wakes up, he finds that he is seventeen again.
The 21-year-old actor stars as the young version of Mike O’Donnell, a star athlete headed straight for a college scholarship when he decides to give it up to settle down with his high school girlfriend Scarlett.
Twenty five years later, an adult Mike (Matthew Perry) finds his life is not exactly what he expected. He is separated from his wife, Scarlett (Leslie Mann) and living with his best friend Ned Freedman (Thomas Lennon).
Mike gets a chance to rewrite his life and goes back to high school to finish the life he never had the chance to live.
